ACTIVATING AND SETTING UP YOUR SUBSCRIPTION ON THE SMART STB APP

Smart STB is an Android application that can be installed on Samsung, LG, Sony… smart TVs. This application allows you to have an IPTV service using a Portal, just like MAG boxes, with all the features that one would expect from MAG and Portal boxes.

Activation of the trial period for Smart STB

You will first need to find the Software MAC Address which is necessary for the activation of the application on the Smart-STB website.

To find the software's MAC address, follow the instructions below:

Go to: System Settings> Device Info.

Here you can find some information about the device and Mac addresses:

• The MAC address of the software which is required for the activation of the application on the Smart-STB website.
• Virtual MAC address which is required for the activation of the service on our IPTV server.

Step 1: Install the app on your TV and open it. You will see the following message after a few seconds:

When you see this message, press one of the number keys (0-9), the following screen will appear:

This is where you will need to enter the activation code that you will receive later.

Step 2: Open the website  https://billing.smart-stb.net/  and go to the “Try & Buy” tab, choose to activate a new trial.

Depending on the region, you may see "Software ID". Once the code is entered, the software ID will appear automatically.

On the same page, you should fill in Software ID and our Portal URL (Sent by email after your order). You can enter it on this page or later from the app on your TV. Finally, click on Continue.

Enter the activation code on the television.

If you've done everything correctly, you should now see this message on your TV:

Step 3: Please enter all the details needed for registration, you should see the trial in the cart like this:

Step 4: After successful registration, you should see this screen in your browser:

Important: you must give us your (Virtual MAC address: 00: 1A: 79:…) in order to activate access to our Portal for your Smart STB application.

Step 5: If everything is set correctly, you should see this loading bar on your device.
